The hotel and our room were gorgeous. A super special find for us! The restaurant served very good food, which was nice because we did not want to go out far for dinner that particular night. The breakfast was also excellent. We traveled around Italy for 5 weeks and stayed in many beautiful places and this is one we won't forget.

Hotel is quite close to the Herculaneum ruins and the reception desk staff was very helpful in planning my visit to it and other sites in the area. Had dinner at the restaurant and found the food well prepared at a reasonable cost ($$)

On arrival we were offered an upgrade at a very reasonable rate to an incredible 18th century bedroom, amazingly with all mod cons but without losing charm or character - that was only the start. The site was lovely, facilities first rate, restaurant excellent and all staff delightful, helpful and thoroughly professional. Parking was very easy, secure and romantically under the trees in the lemon orchard. The magical ancient site of Herculaneum is a short walk away as is the local station with links around the Bay if Naples including the archeological sites at Pompei, Torre Annunziata and Castellammare di Stabia (also within 30 min easy drive).
