Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Ueno... are all on the same line, no need to change trains . And this two JR line is connected to Saitama, Tokyo and Kanagawa, and basically you can go to major tourist attractions in Tokyo within 30 minutes without changing trains. It only takes 2 minutes to walk to Jujo station from our house.
