Has an excellent location for staying in Malta. Easy to get to ferries and buses. Facilities were good. Cleaned well every day. Had 6 berth dorm and plenty of room even a small alcove to sit in and fridge. Staff excellent and friendly. No problem staying here again.

I’ve been traveling for 3 years, and this is the best hostel I’ve been to! The atmosphere was fantastic, it felt like a family. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, close to the ferry to valletta and to a bus stop. The hostel is an old traditional maltese house, and it is very clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. There is a shared fridge in the room, and a kitchen at the ground floor, if you want to cook. You can get a free towel, adapter (they use UK plugs) and lock for the locker by leaving a deposit that is given back to you at check out. There is a TV room on the second floor with a balcony, and a rooftop with sunbathing beds (the rooftop was my favorite part, I filmed a beautiful timelapse of the sunset there). The staff is friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable.

If I were to come back to the Sliema / St Julian's area, this is definitely where I'd stay again. (I also stayed at Inhawi, which is really solid, but too big / impersonal for my tastes). Granny's has super comfy mattresses and the low overhang on the bunk beds wasn't very bad. The dorm room was spacious with shelves and lockers, and even a desk. Lots of nice communal spaces (kitchen, patios, rooftop with loungers, and a TV room). It's on a quiet street across from a school. People we're good about quiet hours, the kitchen is well stocked and has community food, and overall the whole place is very clean. Good wifi, hot water, easy check-in. Also, I got to know several of the Workaway volunteers working here, and their glowing reviews of how their experiences there say a lot. People who stay here actually socialized and got to know one another, unlike in some bigger hostels.

The stuff was extremely helpful and friendly, you could not imagine more friendly people. They responded to all of my questions and doubts 😄 The location in Sliema is really great, especially when you can enjoy rooftop of the hostel during sunny weather. Totally recommended
