This tidy house, just two blocks from the convent, mercado, and Centro, is perfect for a family or larger group, as there are 3 beds in the bedroom, and two hammocks in the dining room. There is an AC in the bedroom. There is good internet and a 42" flat screen TV in the bedroom (that can easily be moved to the living room if you prefer). Breakfast includes eggs, bread, milk, cheese, cereal, coffee and tea. Huge secure back yard for your pets to roam.

Greetings, I'm originally from Austin, Texas, and have been living in Izamal, Yucatan full time for six years. I'm the owner of Dooley Gallery in Izamal, a unique collection of items from around the world and other parts of Mexico. My other Airbnb is located inside Dooley Gallery. I live right around the corner, and I'm available 24/7...within reason :) If I'm out of town, I always check my messages and will have one of my crew tend to whatever you may need.

The convent, main plaza (Oxxo and two pharmacies), large Mercado, and two Willie's grocery stores are just two blocks away....perfect walking distance for everybody! Some of the best taco's al pastor in Izamal are literally two doors down! Our favorite restaurants in Izamal are Los Arcos on the main square, and La Conquista on Calle 30 at Calle 19, right before the old train station. The best pizza restaurant in our humble opinion, Italians, is just two blocks away, and does deliver. If you like spicy, try the Mexicana....it's delicious! :) It's very simple and easy to walk to Centro, and we have taxi friends at your service nearby who we can call for you. If you need a taxi to get to Izamal, we have a good taxi friend, who drives a nice, clean car with AC and will stop off for food or beverages along the way. He services all of Yucatan, Quintana Roo, and Campeche. We also have a good friend in Merida who can take you anywhere in the city in a nice clean, new car with AC. Bus service to Merida is very good, with a few options. We prefer the Oriente bus, as the seats are comfy and the AC is always good! We can share the schedule both ways if you need to plan your trip here ;)
