We were met at Norfolk airport, and were able to follow in our hire car back to the cottage. Keys were issued. Also a mobile phone to use on the island was provided, as there isn’t Australian mobile coverage. Phone came with some credit, but was easy to load more $5 at the shops. Important numbers were preloaded in the phone. We mentioned the kettle was not working properly, and tv reception was poor. The next day we were given a new kettle and tv. All worked perfectly then. Everything was there in the cattage, to be able to cook meals, do laundry washing, etc. Thankyou.

We were met at the Airport by Renee, who showed us our rental car , we then followed her thru the centre of town so we could get our bearings and then onto the property where she showed us around and answered our questions . We also got a short story of how the locals live and the relaxed lifestyle on the island. While Ahstyk Cottage is not in the centre of Burnt Pine , it is a lovely relaxed place surrounded by gardens and greenery, Burnt Pine shopping centre is a 3 minute drive away, never far away from anywhere on the island. Also we had questions prior to arrival and they were answered quickly.

Perfect location. Very well provisioned cottage. Great layout, comfortable beds, very private. Not far from Burnt Pine but a lovely rural setting.
