This is a lovely turn of the century hotel with a lot of charm. The location near the dyke is lovely with the historical city of Schoonhoven in the back. The bedrooms are on the first floor, but there is an elevator. Some overlook the river. The dining rooms are lovely, tall ceilings and windows going out onto the river Lek. The service at the restaurant is exceptional and the menu as well as the à la carte options very tasty. Definitely recommend staying here.

The did not have a secure lock up area for our bicycle but we were able to take it into the hotel in the evening so that it was safe. The food was excellent. Great view of the Rhine. Lovely town.
