Stay for a couple of days or better weeks, its perfect for digital nomads or a romantic getaway! The perfect place to explore Utrecht and the Netherlands! HIGHLIGHTS: - In the heart of Utrecht - Efficient use of space - Free Wifi - Typical Dutch house Within 7 min. to Utrecht Central Station on foot, 34 min. to Amsterdam Central by train or 42 min by car (P&R RAI Amsterdam). The apartment is located in the heart of the Netherlands, right at the lively Utrecht city center, you get a real taste of Dutch life. With fast transit to Amsterdam (Airport) this is the place to explore the Netherlands or just stay in Utrecht. Enjoy our city with the famous Dom Tower and the old canal with the unique warfcellers. UTCA has international allure but is still authentic. Stay for a couple of days or better weeks, its perfect for you digital nomads. We offer an excellent workspot or go to the beautiful library just a few steps away. Dubble doors give street access to living room, with a large sofa, TV, and dinner table. Whith a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, induction cooker, Nespresso) and several supermarkets just around the corner, you can enjoy your breakfast/meals on your own terras or choose one of the many restaurants. The bedroom with ensuite bathroom, has a "up or down" bed, which can be made up as twins or double.
Since you're in the very center of Utrecht, all the restaurants, museums, theatres, and any attraction you can think of, are at walking distance. The apartment is on a busy street in the city center, so there likely will be some noise. More information Utrecht is number 6 in Lonely Planet's top 10 of the world's unsung places: "Perhaps it’s the lure of Amsterdam that leads people to forget Utrecht. Whatever the reason, this graceful city is bizarrely under-visited. Its old town is encircled by a medieval canal, and you can hop on a boat tour to visit the city’s bustling, vibrant wharves. Built to connect the canalside with Utrecht’s impressive townhouses, today these unique spaces are filled with bohemian cafes, shops, restaurants and bars." Public Transport, The train from Schiphol Airport rides every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes. When exiting the station it is only a 7 min. walk to the apartment. It is also possible to take the bus which will take you 10 min. The busstop is on a 100 meter walk from the apartment. Taxi, Taking a taxi is the most convenient way to get from the Airport to our doorstep. It takes about 45 minutes. To get a taxi, go to the Schiphol Transfer Assistance (STA) desk, which is loacted in Arrival hall 4. You could also call the taxi company UTC in Utrecht. Car, If you arrive by car it is possible to park on one of the neighbouring streets or in a parking garage. Do note parking in Utrecht can be really difficult and expensive. It is possible to park for free on a 25 min. walk. If you have an electric car there is a charging station on a 250 meter walk. Bike Rental We always recommend to rent bikes! It is the most fun and easiest way to get around in Utrecht. The closest bike rental shop is De Neude Bike & Willemstraat Bike.

In order to create a safe and friendly environment for you, the next guests, the neighbours and the owners of the house we kindly ask you to respect the following house rules.

It seems like a lot of rules but most of them are common sense but good to use as a reminder :)

In case of complaints about nuisance or not following the house rules we will intervene. Ultimately we may ask you to leave the house. Rental charge will not be refunded. Breaking the house rules will result in losing your deposit and/or extra costs charged:

A.

- Please keep noise levels down, especially when you enter/leave the house. The neighbours are not on their holiday and might have small children or need to get up to go to work early.

- We guarantee a clean house when checking in. When checking out, please leave the house closely to the same state as it was provided to you, in order to avoid double cleaning charges.

- No music and or noise after 21:00.

- Any damages created during your stay need to be reported immediately.

- Open fire (candles, fire pit etc.) in and around the house is not allowed.

B.

- Pets are not allowed.

- No parties.

- Smoking and/or using drugs (cannabis & marijuana are also considered drugs) in and around the house and/or complex is strictly prohibited.

-No additional guests are permitted to stay at the apartment without prior approval (also during the day).

All rules mentioned under A will result in an additional charge of €100,- per broken rule.

All rules mentioned under B will result in an additional charge of €250,- per broken rule.

Additionally the costs of any damages caused by breaking the rules will be charged as well.

Cameras are installed inside viewing the front door to monitor real occupancy and for emergency situations only. No other security cameras or recording devices are present inside the property.

Respect the environment;

- Turn off the lights & heating when not in use or when you leave the apartment.

- Do not dump garbage/waste but use the several recycling stations.

We trust you handle my apartment, furniture and belongings with the same care as you would with your own belongings. :)
