You can also enjoy the beautiful view and the proximity of nature on the terrace, perhaps over breakfast in the morning sun or a cozy afternoon by the outdoor fireplace. Valdres is suitable for an adventurous vacation all year round. In Bagn you can try rafting, SUP boarding and canyon hikes. Hike to the glacier pots at Kvitingen or visit Reinli Stave Church with fantastic views and guided tours in the summer. There are plenty of berries in the area in summer. In winter, simply strap on your cross-country skis right outside the door or take a trip to the nearby Stavdalen ski center. The Begna River, which runs south from Bagn in Valdres towards Nes in Ådal, is one of the most popular trout rivers in eastern Norway, and you can also catch perch, pike and whitefish in the river.
