I booked this place last minute to surprise my brother and his girlfriend. They absolutely LOVED this place. Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing everything. Perfect for a couple, very romantic and immerse in nature. RECOMMENDED!

The trip started with me adding the wrong address in google maps and ending up in the middle of nowhere. We called there and they kindly went to collect us. The dome was beautiful and cozy! The dinner was just AMAZING! The fish was so fresh, I really regretted to have booked it for just one night. They had loads of alcohol free options (as I am pregnant, this was a huuuge plus!). They also clear paths for trails everywhere, so its really perfect for some walking. Unfortunately, we did not see the Northern Lights, however the place was so nice that it didn't really matter.

Staying at Glød was a wonderful and well rounded experience. Both the staff and owner were extremely hospitable, which made us feel right at home! Additionally breakfast and dinner was a dream! Sleeping in the Canvas Dome was very comfortable and cosy. Overall the experience definitely can best be described as perfect!

Great place to stay with and fabulous sleeping quarters. Great breakfast, made by a gracious host. This is a place where you can sleep close to nature, but still have the amenities of a hotel. Worth a stay if you are in Alta or the Finnmark-region in general.
