Tempelter is located in Eggedal, the artist's valley. In the center of Eggedal there is also a cozy and popular restaurant, grocery store, liquor store, hardware and gas station. The location of the cottage provides a fantastic starting point for trips to Høgevarde, the statue of the Madonna or Andersnatten, where you can try climbing. Feel free to make summit trips to Gråfjell and Ranten, where you can eat the packed lunch and enjoy spectacular views in all directions from the top. For those interested in fishing, there is good trout fishing in the mountain lakes. Try your luck and throw your hook into the water. In winter you don't have to worry about the amount of snow. You are connected to the entire network of cross-country ski trails, with miles of "streetcar tracks" into the mountains. If you like cross-country skiing, Tempelseter is simply a paradise.
