IMPORTANT: At this cabin final cleaning is included in the price. Bedlinen and towels can be rented, but must be ordered minimum 7 days in advance of your stay. 1 bag of firewood is included. ABOUT THE CABIN: Vaset cabin is located on a sunny and secluded yard, with fantastic view of Skogshorn and Grønsennknippa, 1025 masl. The Vaset area is beautifully located between Hemsedal and Beitostølen (approx. 50 minutes away), and is a very family-friendly area with varied activities throughout the year. BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1: Double bed 140cm and a mattress 160 cm on a loft. Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed and 1 single bed. Bedroom 3: Bunk bed 90/75cm - Lower bunk is a pull-out bed that can be extended to 130 cm. Annex: 2 single beds

130 km of cross country trails network starts right outside the door. It is 5 km to Vaset ski Center where you will find slopes that suit whole familiy. The ski center also offers tobogganing with professional sleds down the 1200 meter long toboggan run. If you want a larger Alpine Center, Hemsedal Ski Center is accessible via Panoramevegen, about 50 minutes drive. Great hiking and biking opportunities in summer and autumn. Fantastic hiking terrain with several summit hikes. Miles of dirt roads along living farms for cycling and animal enthusiasts. Good fishing opportunities in mountain lakes and rivers. At Vasetvannet there is a great activity park for children with slides, climbing house, obstacle course, zipline and barbecue area. About 45 minutes drive to Synshorn Via Ferrata and approx. 1.5 hour drive to Gjendesheim (Besseggen). There are several nice restaurants such as Vasetstølen, Gomobu Fjellstue and Sekskanten.
