Pete and Sarah are both hospitality professionals. Pete is Managing Director of Distinctive NZ Ltd. Originally, Pete is from the UK and Sarah, Zambia. Together we decided Queenstown is just too good to leave. Passionate about our work, Pete's background is Manager of hotels, hospitality, project and event management. Sarah is a Manager within food & beverage led businesses specifically, specialising in all things fish and loving wine! Together we have professionally or personally, experienced most of what our incredible hometown has to offer! Creative types, we love a good novel, film, non-fiction and all things events, music, arts and live entertainment. These things make us smile. We have both travelled the world extensively, love to socialise, meet new people and experience new cultures. Adventurous types, we have recently returned home from working in the Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea. If you have any questions or would like suggestions or advice, please ask. Located in a very convenient quiet residential area, seven minutes drive from Queenstown town centre, but also just far enough away to avoid the noise, hustle, and bustle of our busy tourist town. The house is laid out on two floors. Each floor has its own external lockable entrance door. There are three bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. Your accommodation has just been completely renovated to provide a comfortable but relaxed feel with modern finishes including high-end appliances. The upstairs kitchen is well-appointed and downstairs has a kitchenette, a bathroom is on each floor. The upstairs main living space is suitable for a large family and downstairs is a comfy lounge for the children or perhaps escaping for some quiet time. The modern well lit lounge is equipped with an outstanding gas fire and SMART flat screen TV with Netflix will ensure on those relaxing evenings in, everyone is entertained. Downstairs TV is also SMART, there are four Netflix accounts. The property has FREE unlimited high-speed fibre wifi. All bedrooms have high-end Mitibushi heat pumps. Fernhill is a residential area with amazing wide views overlooking the Remarkable mountains, Wakatipu lake, across to Kingston. Elevated from lake level, it offers incredible views and an amazing scenic experience if you walk into town. (Great photo opportunities) A local grocery/liquor store, good Italian restaurant and bar, fish & chip shop are all within 3 minutes walk. A children's outdoor playground 8 minutes walk away, offers possibly some of the best panoramic views from any playground!
