One of the decks is ideal for year-round living with rain and winder sheltering, while the other is perfect for sunny weather - fire up the BBQ or simply sit back and admire the tranquillity of the treetops. With external access only, a second living space downstairs provides the perfect layout for families and couples, including a kitchenette and sitting area. A pool table completes the downstairs area - perfect for keeping the family entertained on any indoor days. For days on the lake, a dinghy and 2 kayaks are on hand, with 2 childrens life jackets available during your stay. There are walking tracks nearby to explore, and a number of other beautiful lake locations to visit for day trips. Whether you are after relaxation or adventure, this is an excellent spot for Family Fun at The Lake! As shown in the photos, this property has unfenced access to a large expanse of bush nearby. It is essential that guests take person responsibility for the safety of their group in and around the bush area adjacent to the property. Please note the staircase at this property is external. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
