Mangawhai Village is ten minutes by car with its Saturday markets, a New World supermarket, an art gallery and the town centre with an array of boutique shops. Several beautiful beaches surround including Te Arai Beach and Mangawhai Heads. The adjacent paddocks are home to sheep who like to be left in peace to live their best lives; keeping the grass down and watching you watching them, as sheep do. Take a stroll in the lush native bush and listen to the many native birds.
