Picture yourself lounging out on the wrap-around sheltered sundeck on a hammock, sitting in the sun getting a top-up of Vitamin D, or putting up the sun umbrellas and hanging out in the outdoor living areas. When everyone gets home after a day down on the beach, get the BBQ fired up and make use of the fully equipped kitchen. There's nothing better than a tasty Kiwi feast to re-fuel the troops at the end of the day's adventures! Known for its beautiful beach, you'll love being so close to the surf and sand! It's just an eight-minute flat stroll till your toes are in the water and you're trying the water activities available, like surfing and stand-up paddle boarding! On the beachfront the kids will also be able to run around on the Island View Reserve and have a ball at the playground. The other beaches the Coromandel has to offer, including Hot Water Beach, are only about an hour's drive away. When you need supplies, an ice-cream, or the family have voted for fish'n'chips for dinner, the main street of Whangamata has everything you need and is a quick four-minute drive from the bach. And if you're planning to bring the clubs, you'll be well set up to access the nine hole Williamson Golf Course, or the 18 hole Titoki Golf Course, both only a few minutes drive away. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
