Cook up a storm on the BBQ at the end of a busy of day exploring before chilling out with a board game or a movie. With outdoor living areas both at the front and back at the house, you and the family will love being able to just lounge in the deck chairs soaking up the glorious sun. And even the outdoor shower to help cool off or rinse off the sand when you get home from the beach. This home away from home is a mere 5-minute walk to the ocean beach or 10-minutes to Anzac Bay on the Tauranga Harbour. With loads of fishing spots including Cave Bay or Shelly Beach. Plus, it's a boaties dream, with all tide ramps at Bowentown Boat Club or launch off from Anzac Bay. Try one of the local eateries or head over to nearby Waihi or Katikati for a spot of shopping, or even further afield to the city of Tauranga. There are plenty of local walks or hikes to get your exercise or head over and see the old gold mines in the Karangahake Gorge. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
