Our bright and modern modern apartment is situated in the new and prestigious development Cabanas Gardens, a quiet residential area just 5 minutes (250m) walk away from the waterfront of Cabanas and the boat to the beach (250m). Beautifully furnished and very well equipped, all guests will be assured of a relaxing and comfortable stay. The accommodation is modern in design and comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with overhead shower and an open plan living area with comfy sofas, a dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette with washing machine and dishwasher. The sofas in the lounge convert to a very comfortable double bed to accommodate 2 children or a second couple. The lounge patio doors lead to a balcony with table and chairs and a pool view - perfect for breakfast and sun-downers! The pool is private to residents only and has sun loungers and tables for your use. The complex is securely gated and has designated underground parking, making this a very safe place to stay. Free WIFI access is also provided to guests. Great accommodation for a young family or 2 couples. IMPORTANT INSECT AND WILDLIFE INFORMATION: Our home is situated in the beautiful region of Algarve, known for its warm and humid climate that provides a thriving habitat for various creatures, which extends indoors as well. Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, you might come across mosquitoes, flies, ants, spiders, and occasionally flying cockroaches during your stay. While we do arrange for regular pest control services, we cannot guarantee a bug-free environment or offer refunds specifically for occasional insects that may find their way indoors. Rest assured, we take active measures to prevent such situations. You can also play a part by keeping doors closed, disposing of trash properly, and storing food responsibly. Cabanas is situated 7km east of Tavira, at the beginning of the lagoons of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve. Cabanas derived it's name from the huts (cabanas) that were erected during the early 18th century by the tuna fishermen to store their fishing gear in, they then eventually built houses for themselves as well and the fishing village of 'Cabanas de Tavira' was born. What was, until a few years ago, a small, sleepy village with a handful of cafés, is now a very popular tourist resort. Cabanas is a delightfully 'chilling' place where any sense of 'urgency' simply disappears! The view across the calm, crystal clear waters of the lagoon to the beach, with brightly coloured fishing boats along the waters edge, really is picturesque. Most of the typical amenities you may require, such as post office, grocery stores, banks, restaurants, bars, etc. are located within walking distance of our apartment. The village of Cabanas has an excellent choice of restaurants and a lovely beach island, reached by small boat. For golfers, there is an 18-hole golf course within a 5-minute drive from the apartment (2 km).
