Outside the city you can visit Sintra, Queluz or Cascais. With direct trains leaving Rossio and Cais do Sodré you arrive in these destinatins in less than 1 hour. Sintra - romantic Village with its castles is UNESCO World Heritage ,Queluz with its palaces and gardens and Cascais a village known for its good food,landscapes,aquatic sports and beaches.
