The setting is absolutely gorgeous, we were there in summer but no doubt that it has charm in all seasons (and we hope to be able to come back and see for ourselves!) It doesn't have many suites so perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. We read some negative reviews about breakfast but to our surprise we found it of good quality and more than sufficient as you can order what you like and it is brought to your room.

PortugalQuinta do Ameal is truly a wonderful place. The apartment is very stylish and spacious. And the estate is an absolute paradise, so green, lush and well maintained. Beautiful pool and nice setting with a path along the Lima River. In short, highly recommended!
