Welcome to our holiday home, built with regard to the environment and health. Mostly natural materials: timber walls, soap-cut wood floors, paint with natural pigments. Here you will sleep and live in a house with fresh air and good comfort. Even the house is undisturbed on its own plot, embedded in greenery and little forest. If you peek between the pines you can also see the beautiful lake Glafsfjorden that you can walk down to in just a few minutes. There is a small sandy beach and a bridge where you can have a lovely evening dip or borrow our canoe for a ride. The house consists of a living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms (one on the loft). Bed linen and towels are included and if you want you can book breakfast (two days before arrival) and then we will put ingredients in the kitchen for you. We have wifi but it will be not the best and hope our guests are here for other things. We also have Tv but not so many channels. Instead you can use our chromecast to look at netflix, play etc via your phone. We hope you will have a relaxed time with us.
If you book accommodation at Fröya B & B you will meet me or any of the others in my family; my husband, our two children or our nice cats. We are an active family with many hobbies like hiking in the forest, cycling, orienteering, playing soccer, canoeing, etc. Of us you can get many tips on what to do in these areas. We also offers some guided hikings to some scenery surroundings. Our house is on the plot next to you so you're wondering if it's just knocking on the door.
In our area there is so much to do! Here are some tips:
- Walk on nice trails in the forests of the immediate area (you will receive a map on arrival)
- Swim at the sandy beach or the bridge only a few hundred meters from the house (in the summer there is also a fly-jump mat)
- Bike MTB or regular bike (many fine roads and major trails adapted for cycling)
- Paddle canoe in Glafsfjorden (canoe is available for free)
