We enjoyed both the breakfast and long dinners we had with drinks at this hotel. The dinning room overlooking the water with the evening sunset over the lake Fryken was unforgettable. The lounge area was most suitable for quiet reading and reflection even on rainy days. The staff both at check in and check out were polite, efficient and attentive. The service in the restaurant was excellent and customer friendly. We look forward to our next visit and stay with this restful hideout in Sunne. Locating the hotel on the highroad driving out from Sunne city was easy , clearly visible hotel sign. Not always the case with some other hotels we have stayed in.

The room was a really good size and nicely decorated and furnished. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an afternoon snack, an evening meal and breakfast the next morning, and all the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

The breakfast was great. The person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and pointed out parking options. Also, there was free cocoa (hot chocolate) available 24 hrs., which was a nice treat after driving all day in cold, windy, rainy weather. Close to the world-famous rock bridge.

A very good value option for a one-night stay. While my room was windowless (I knew this when booking) it served its purpose very well, as all I needed was a place to sleep with little other time spent in the room. The inclusive breakfast was of very high quality. The location is great, right opposite the railway station and 5 minutes from the bus/coach station.

The breakfast is exceptional and the location of the hotel by the side of the river is great.

Spacious and comfortable rooms.

Honestly, I didn't expect much from the dated and unremarkable exterior, but we quickly found that you can't judge a book by its cover: This is one of the best mid-priced hotels I've stayed in. The stylish, cozy interior, plentiful amenities, delicious breakfast, special accommodations for pets and children, and beautiful Klarälven setting of this Scandic places it among the top-tier. In my experience, this hotel is superior to some of the fancier ones in the center of the city. On thing that really sets Scandic hotels apart, generally, is the breakfast: we very much appreciated the fresh-cut fruit and melons, diverse yogurt selection, Swedish pancakes, and classic (but unusual) things like nyponsoppa. Another is the fabulous family-rooms (with fold-down children's bunkbeds). And the thoughtful accommodation for pets, complete with a bed, bowl, and even treats. Scandic gets it for families on the road!

The breakfast was delicious. The room is spacious, comfortable, the bed is not too soft or hard. The temperature in the room is good. I really liked it.
