The house has a smart interior with 5 bathrooms, 5 living rooms and a shared kitchen and large living room. There are 5 double beds in seperate bedrooms, 2 large sofa beds, 1 small sofa bed, 3 bunkbeds, 2 babycots. Sleeping arrangements can be made according to your needs. We feel the house is at is't best with no more than 10 adults and 8 childeren. The old classrooms upstairs have been transformed into 4 apartments, each with a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The old teachers’ home downstairs is now also an apartment. Ideal for families and friend to come and spent time together. The outsite is been renovated in the early spring of 2023. There is also free access to a highspeed internet connection (fiber) and 2 cromecasts for easy access to your streamingservices like Netflix of Disney+. What the former schoolchildren used to call their canteen, you can now gather in the main living room. The old school kitchen still has its original appearance, it's fully equipped with modern equipment. Here you will find a dishwasher, a large modern stove with large oven. There is also an additional fridge and freezer. The house has many extras such as a gym, sauna and wood-burning stove. The school’s old gymhall “brings out the child” in everyone. Playing sports or a dance/theater performance for the entire group in the evenings, will be lot's of fun guaranteed. The sauna is wonderful after a nice walk on the trails nearby. You can opt for a traditional Finnish sauna or a steam bath. The wood-burning stove ultimately attracts everyone to the living room. With lots of books and games in the house, you can all come together.

About 15 years ago we were traveling with our Volkswagen T2 van through Scandinavia, when we saw this old school. We have already spent many special moments with friends and family there. The country and its surroundings are so pure, which often brings enormous peace. Time for each other, time for cooking, playing, reading, walking, we are so happy to come to this place. We were even married in the garden in 2009 in the presence of our family, friends and neighbors. You are welcome to enjoy this beautiful place.

At the house you will find a campfire place and a rowing boat. The garden is so spacious that it is perfectly possible to kick a ball. For the little ones there is a climbing frame, swings, a sandpit and flying fox. From the house there is a beautiful view over the lake Näsrämmen and the monumental church of the village that lies on the next peninsula! With our rowing boat “Löv”, you can go on a journey of discovery. For example, to the large island “Storön”, where the foundations of former settlements can still be seen. Of course you can also throw out a fishing rod, who knows, you might hit a big pike! Anyone who walks through Rämmen will notice that it used to be much bigger. Not only is the village spacious, you suddenly walk past a large Herrgård (which can also be visited), an old iron melting house and you see an old billboard from the supermarket that has been closed for 35 years. More history of the village can be sniffed at the school museum, which is located next to our house. For practical information about everything there is to do, you don’t have to go far: the smallest tourist office in Sweden, that of Rämmen, is in our front garden!
