Apartments Bonsai House Portorož are situated in a peaceful location in a quiet and green area of Lucija, Portorož, only 10-minutes (approx. 1 km) walk walk to the tidy and clean man-made beach, shops and restaurants of Portorož. There is a parking place free of charge for all guests and you can choose from two spacious and functionally furnished apartments for up to 7 people. Both apartments are spacious, cozy, air conditioned and are situated in the upper floor of the house. The larger apartment (Apartment with Terrace) comprises of 4 rooms with 7 high-quality beds, bathroom, a second WC, a large terrace and a garden. The NEW smaller apartment (Deluxe Apartment) is suitable for up to 5 people. Towels and bedding are provided. Our guests are most welcomed either to relax in our spacious garden or to grill in the shadow under the grapevine, while their children are busy jumping on high safety standard SpringFree trampoline.
Because our aim is satisfaction and well being of our guests, we are convinced that after your first visit you will return to us regularly, to discover more hidden corners of one of the most beautiful Slovenian costal areas. Portoroz city centre is located 1,5 km from the accommodation, and is reachable by 15 min walk through the famous promenade. Bus stop, shops and traditional restaurants, serving fresh and delicious seafood as well as other dishes, are also within walking distance from our accommodation. A must do is a short trip to Piran, to see Mediterranean historical inheritance. The best way to get there would be by bus, for only 1,5 EUR a ride, which runs the whole day.
The Slovenian coast offers endless possibilities for interesting excursions for individuals, sportsmen, families with children and those who just like to enjoy their holidays. For the days that you would not want to spend on the beach, you can plan various things: visit the salt pans, taste excellent home-made food in the nearby village of Korte, have ice cream in Ankaran, visit the Socerb Castle and the Holy Cave, sightseeing in one of the oldest Slovenian villages of Osp or plan a trip that children will love - horse watching in Lipica or train ride through Postojna Cave. For cycling enthusiasts we recommend the breathtaking path Izola - Secovlje or to experience the Parenzana route, with fabulous views of typical Istrian villages of Groznjan, Motovun, etc. If any choice to choose a trip is too difficult to make, we will be happy to help, taking your preferences into consideration.
