Welcome to Villa Pokljuka The Cottage is situated in Goreljek, on plateau Pokljuka where you will be amazed by the lush green pine forests and peacefulness of the nature. Cottage is suitable for families and groups, nature lovers, hikers and anyone who seeks pristine nature and pure relaxation. It is a perfect starting point for mountain hikes in the Julian Alps. It is 16 km from Bohinj, 20 km from Bled and 16 km from Vintgar Gorge. The house is set besides the famous hiking Juliana Trail. It is a perfect place to hide away from the Summer heat. Autmn offers numerous forest goodies such as blueberiess, mushrooms,...In Winter you can have fun with winter sports such as skiing, cross-country skiing,... All in all it is a place worth visiting in all Season.

Usualy Guests will be welcomed by me at the cabin. I will sign you in, give you the keys and the relevant information regarding what to do and see in the area and Slovenia in general. There is also an option of self check-in.

From 1st July 2022 till 31st August 2022 two free transports will be organised in Bled, intended for locals and visitors. The service is not intended for organised groups of passengers: The Pokljuka bus starts from Infocenter Triglavska roža Bled, past the main bus station, Rečica, Gorje to Pokljuka plateu (Rudno polje). (50 seater bus) The Bled bus connects the Bled countryside (Zasip, Ribno and Bohinjska Bela) with Bled. (30 seater bus). The Pokljuka bus also allows transport of up to 5 bikes, on the hook of the bus. Timetable and routs available on Bled tourist info website. Important Info about Vintgar Gorge! Due to the unforeseen extension of works on the state road through Spodnje Gorje, access to the Vintgar gorge is difficult. More information on the website of the municipality of Gorje and Bled. From the direction of Bled, access is officially possible only on foot. We recommend access from Blejska Dobrava.
