Our accommodation (there are more than 40) is suitable for those who seek and love peace, unspoilt nature, intimacy, traditional Slovenian cuisine, local and boutique products and active holidays.

Become a master of Vineyard Cottage Škatlar, situated on vineyard hill near Novo mesto. Take a walk through the vineyards. Taste the wine in the cellar and enjoy the quiet nature and magnificent view on hills of Dolenjska. Traditional and well-preserved vineyard cottaghe. In the living space is: brick stove, electric oven, 4 hotplates, dishwasher, large fridge, seating set that can be made up into a bed for 2 people. There is also a bedroom with two good-quality beds, a bathroom with a massage shower, a toilet and a washing machine. The wine cellar is located downstairs. In summer, it is also possible to sleep in the attic under a thatched roof. There is a terrace with a table in front of the cottage, and a Finnish sauna (extra charge 25 EUR) in a 7,000-litre wooden barrel and a hot tub (extra charge 60 EUR) nearby. The host welcomes you and invites you to the cellar for a tasting. Guests receive a key to the cellar and can pour their own wine for an extra charge. You can also try homemade bread, salami and cheese. Guests can enjoy seasonal vegetables and fruit from the garden. You can visit Matjaž's homestead, watch a multimedia and taste wines. By prior arrangement, we can also organise a sound bath (gong, crystal bowls, etc. ), an Indian head massage, an acupressure massage on a special ergonomic chair, apitherapy, electric bicycle rental and vintage car rides through the wine hills. It is also suitable for smaller groups, as there are two other cottages in the immediate vicinity (Škatlar 1 and Škatlar 3). The welcome of local delicacies on your arrival is included. Because we are aware of the importance of reducing carbon emissions, we have set up an electric charging station for your electric vehicles.
