Welcome to the Baby Dragon's Nest! This beautiful and unique house was designed and built by local architect in 2023. The house features warm all-wood interior, spacious open layout, 3 separate decks, outdoor soaking tub, propane fireplace stove, all set to the breathtaking views of Discovery Bay and Olympic Mountains and complete privacy. Explore the unparalleled beauty of the Olympic National Park with it's rainforest, glaciers, beaches, and mountain lakes.
Now that we've built our beautiful new guesthouse, I really enjoy making it comfortable and welcoming to our guests. We live in such a lovely place, it's a joy to share We live on the property, but our house is up the hill and shielded by trees, not visible from the guesthouse. We are around and available to answer any questions and address any concerns, but will respect your privacy and won't intrude unless requested.
We are located in a quiet rural neighborhood on the Discovery Bay. Our property is second to last on private gravel road. The cottage is very private, surrounded by trees and looking over the Bay. It is very quiet here, all you'll hear is the rustling of the trees, the song birds, and the distant cries of seagulls at night. -- 2.5 hours travel time from Seattle, which can include a beautiful ferry ride across the Puget Sound -- 15 minute easy scenic drive from the quaint Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend, where you can find excellent restaurants, boutique shops, Farmer's Market, and plenty of art and music events especially during the summer -- 3 state parks within 15 minute drive, with beautiful wooded trails and lovely beaches -- an hour drive gets you to the Olympic National Park; Port Angeles; a ferry to Victoria BC; several other state parks with oyster rich beaches, kayak launches, hiking trails and view points Use the Baby Dragon's Nest as your base camp to explore the gorgeous Olympic Peninsula, or simply curl up and enjoy the view from your private hideaway!
