This historic house is located in the heart of The Heights (77007 zip), recently voted Houston’s top neighborhood. The house is only a block from Heights Mercantile, several popular bars (Better Luck Tomorrow and Eight Row Flint) and surrounded by hike/bike trails. The house is artfully decorated, bright and welcoming. Family and pet friendly. The perfect place to call home during your stay in Houston!
Hi y'all! I grew up around Houston, did my undergrad studies in Austin and came back home since HTX is where my heart is. I just love HTX as it is a melting pot of many cultures, personalities and interests. As a foodie, there is a never-ending list for good eating here. I’m a low key traveler and often use Airbnb when visiting new cities and countries. So I am thrilled to be able to return the favor and be a great host! I live ~15mins away, am available to answer questions by message or text, or can stop by if needed. Otherwise, I prefer to stay out of your way and allow you to enjoy your stay uninterrupted.
The Heights is Houston's oldest and most popular neighborhood. Just 10mins to downtown and 15mins to the Medical Center, the location is perfect. The bungalow is just blocks away from some of the city's best restaurants, bars and shops (Better Luck Tomorrow, Heights Mercantile, Local Foods, Coltivaire to name a few). There are also hike and bike trails, beautiful parks and boulevards.
