The Backcountry Bungalow is a wonderful romantic retreat or escape for your small family. The cute knotty pine interior takes you back in time, providing a sweet, rustic, cabin-in-the-woods feel. Relax and unwind with plenty of living room seating and a dining table that sits in front of a glass sliding door that frames your fenced backyard. In that lovely outdoor space, you'll have a Trex-type deck with a built-in picnic table and a seasonal grill for afternoon barbecues. Luckily, the yard backs up to a vacant natural area with lots of natural grasses and trees, making you feel a little more removed from the activities on the resort side of Wallowa Lake. Through the living room is a galley-like kitchen with just enough space to comfortably prepare meals and another door that opens to the backyard. At night, you'll find that the bedroom has an adjoining bathroom (with a shower stall only). This sweet little cabin is the perfect place for your couple's retreat, your small family vacation, or an opportunity to get away from it all! <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided.
