We are 5 Star Superhosts on other platforms. Our Barrio Bungalow is a 5 minute walk to the Tubac Historic Presidio and the town of Tubac. Also a 4 minute walk to the Historic Anza trail. BIRDING GALORE! Spectacular view from the back yard of the Whipple Observatory and the Santa Rita Mtns from the Master Bed and screened in porch. Many couches to converse with friends and a electric Fireplace to set the mood. Very large rooms and the Primary bathroom even has a bidet. Large dining room table for 8 and a bar for two more. Two car garage for your vehicle and extra parking on one side of the driveway. A separate one-bedroom casita (Casa) on the property is available for booking independently. The inner courtyard has a table and four chairs with cushions to have that drink you are looking forward to. Clean, comfortable, large, quiet, and close to Tubac. How delightful to check off all the boxes that you want. The Tumacacori Mission is 3 miles away, as is the longest continuing running bar in Arizona called Abes Bar. Wisdoms a Historic Restaurant is about 2 miles from our Barrio Bungalow. Yes, our Barrio Bungalow is in the desirable Barrio District. The hosts are always here to ask any questions about the area and direct you to the best sights, just let us know what your interests are. You will not be disappointed! Lives in Tubac, AZ Kelley and Nancy are from North Pole, Alaska (no kidding). We love to travel, and also have a passion for remodeling, classic cars, art, magic and other circus skills. Kelley grew up in Southern California surfing and sailing. In 1970 Kelley sailed a 38 foot ketch to Hawaii and has been traveling ever since. Nancy, originally from PA, was a competitive dog musher in Alaska for many years and once had as many as 50 dogs in her kennel. Nancy is now retired from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Kelley still owns a specialty lumber yard in North Pole. Both enjoy what the far north and southwest environments and cultures have to offer and travel to and from frequently.

This was our second stay at Kelley’s place. It was just as wonderful as the first. Great spot close to everything while still feeling private and peaceful. Has everything you need and the backyard view and screened in porch is beautiful. The town of Tubac is only a 5 minute walk and this neighborhood is beautiful. There is also a park just down the street where we have met many nice people and a good place to walk our dog. We were lucky enough to meet our host on this trip, and they are so kind and fun to talk with. Kelley is full of the knowledge of Tubac and the surrounding area. Highly recommend this awesome Tubac spot!
