After graduating from Boston University in 1986, I embarked on my journey by working as a night auditor in a small hotel in Boston. From the very beginning, I was captivated by the enchanting world of hospitality and had an insatiable thirst for knowledge about every aspect of this industry. Constantly striving to enhance the overall guest experience became my passion, leading to frequent promotions. Over the years, I immersed myself in every department, gaining a comprehensive understanding of all facets of hotel operations. As time went on, I had the privilege of assuming the role of General Manager in prestigious hotels and upscale boutique inns, further solidifying my expertise in this remarkable field. Throughout my corporate career as a General Manager at a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa, Florida, I had the chance to oversee a quaint beach vacation rental nestled along the Gulf Coast. To put it simply... I was captivated. This newfound venture became my true passion and lifelong calling. In the past, my wife and I have experienced a mix of emotions during our stays at vacation rentals. With the awareness that there is always room for improvement in the vacation rental business, I felt a surge of excitement to starting on this journey.
