Although this home is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with Tahoe's mild summer weather. Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home. Strict ordinances govern Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for parties, weddings, or receptions. The maximum allowable occupancy is 11 people and 6 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day (meaning even an afternoon BBQ with too many people is subject to citation/fine). Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise any time of day will result in guest fine up to 2,000 USD (in addition to fines assessed against the homeowner by local authorities).
