The 26-foot Tipi with two queen-sized beds, a clawfoot bathtub, and a huge deck to enjoy BBQs, the Brazilian hammock is a perfect family getaway. All the cooking amenities included you'd expect and more. Kids and couples of all ages LOVE this experience The property is a small piece of paradise, offering something for families, or couples’ getaways and the perfect base to start your day trips to Yosemite and Bass Lake. Views are to die for, the most beautiful sunsets and stargazing at night make this a truly amazing location. Add to that the wild turkeys and deer roaming the property for most of the year and delicious artesian spring well water, comfortable beds with cotton sheets and you will understand why so many of our guests love to come back again.

We love traveling and prefer staying in vacation rentals instead of hotels, ourselves. We equipped our vacation rentals with everything we’d like to see in a getaway vacation home and are super anal about cleanliness. We prefer the personal touches in vacation rentals and the ability to lounge & relax, making our own food, or ordering in from a restaurant, instead of having to get ready and leave every time, just to have a meal. We enjoy having the choice to just enjoy the space we rent or to go out and have an adventure.

Our home sits just above the town of Oakhurst about 10 minutes to town and Bass Lake and approximately 35 minutes to the south entrance of Yosemite. It is in a residential neighborhood and all neighbors have acreage. Oakhurst is the last town of varied conveniences, before getting to Yosemite. Drug stores, Urgent Care if needed, grocery stores, restaurants, and a great brewery.
