Our house is located on the border of two historical neighborhoods, known as "5 Points" and "Tobin Hill". It has become a location to set up vacation rentals due to its proximity to downtown, the River Walk and the Pearl Brewery. The street the house is on may give people that are unfamiliar with San Antonio a bad first impression and lead to concerns that they are in a bad part of town. Despite the way the street looks, the house and neighborhood are far away from any part of the city that is dangerous or unwelcoming (located on the Northside of SA). This is a neighborhood in transition, so there is a mixture of nicely done, newly renovated houses and ones that need quite a bit of work.
