Welcome to Morning Star Bed & Breakfast! We opened for business in August of 2018, after a year of renovation. It has been a labor of love and a wonderful family collaboration. John is retired from Commercial Real Estate and has a gift for hospitality, cooking, and is a theologian at heart. He is our secret hospitality weapon. Carrol is a professional Interior Designer. Morning Star is born out of her passion to create a well-designed boutique bed & breakfast that encompasses New Mexico culture, comfort, hospitality, and luxury. We have been longtime residents of Corrales and raised four children in this beautiful community. We hope that during your stay, you will feel embraced, rested, and inspired. Now Open! We offer luxury accommodations in a boutique bed & breakfast setting. The art of relaxation and hospitality is realized through the thoughtful interior design of each suite. This 5000 SF adobe home sits on two acres adjacent to the Corrales Bosque Preserve. We are right over the Rio Grande from Balloon Fiesta Park. As you drive down the lane to the property, you will immediately notice a beautiful landscape of cottonwood trees that provide beautiful shadows on the grass. As you continue through the gate, you will be greeted by a field of white flowers, named Yerba Mansa (in the summer). There is a barn around back where we house our two baby goats, Joey & Duke, next to them is the garden that will see a glorious harvest this year. The heated pool is perfectly situated near shade trees so that you will be able to relax out of the sun. Regardless of the season, you will enjoy the many places to sit and take in nature. Corrales, Our Village - Corrales New Mexico is a charming village located in the Rio Grande Valley next to Albuquerque and just east of Rio Rancho. It comprises of the Corrales Bosque Preserve, farmland, vineyards, restaurants, shops, and art studios. A great way to explore the land is walk or bike the paths that are next to the irrigation ditches (Acequias). The beauty of Corrales never gets old. Albuquerque, Our Town - Albuquerque is a unique eclectic city with a mix of old and new. The sunshine and climate make for great hiking and exploring. The restaurants are outstanding with a growing market in local breweries. There is something for everyone. Try the going up to Sandia Crest on the Tram or maybe a balloon ride at dawn.
