As you can see from our website, the house is situated on the bluff overlooking Cook Inlet and Mt Redoubt (an active volcano, but friendly) The cabin is literally 10 feet from the bluff and we have stairs that you can go down to the beach where depending on the time of the summer, you can go beach combing or watching the commercial set netters bring in their catch. I jokingly say there are only 75 steps down, but there are 150 coming back up.  The house has three large bedrooms (with beds that can be converted from Twin beds to a King Size Bed) with two shared baths. There is a home cooked breakfast every morning at 8:00, and if you are a fisherman with an earlier departure, I fix a really good to go cooler (with home made sourdough muffins and fruit) including thermos of hot coffee. Breakfasts range from Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon and cream cheese (recipe is on the website), Smoked Salmon Quesidilla, Breakfast Pizzaor not a Salmon eater, there is sourdough pancakes and omelettes with reindeer sausage. You do not leave the table hungry. We are centrally located between Homer and Soldotna. Homer is about 1.5 hours away, with the halibut charters only a half hour

My husband and I purchased this B&B in 2005 and have gradually upgraded it to where I think it is an awesome B&B. I love watching the ocean, and beach combing, I have quite a few works of art created by the ocean as you come into my property. I ride my three wheeler up and down Cohoe Loop and watch out for moose constantly.

My neighborhood is limited to the fact that it is no in a city. It is very quiet, it fronts onto the Cook Inlet and the activities really happen in town, the closest of which is Soldotna. There you have all types of places to eat, and play.
