Comfortable, spacious, quiet, well-furnished home just outside of Santa Fe. Whether you're vacationing or working, this house is ideal. Just 20 minutes to the main plaza, and minutes away from beautiful hiking and biking trails. If you're longing for fresh air, peace and quiet, and the friendly, artsy environment of Santa Fe this is the place for you. The owners have thought of just about everything for your comfort and convenience, so all you need to do is make your booking and show up. It’s pet friendly too! Our home is located in a semi-rural area at approximately 7,200 feet elevation. During the winter, December – March, we can receive snowfall, making access to our home require 4-Wheel Drive vehicles or All Wheel Drive vehicles with all-season tires and good tread. We also keep chains and a snow shovel handy just in case. The closest weather station is in Canones de los Alamos and can be selected on the weather website..
Greetings from the Land of Enchantment! I love to travel and meet new people and have the opportunity to share with them! That’s why I love hosting our guests because I get to meet new and interesting people. I also love getting our home ready for our guests and helping them have a great time! My husband speaks both Spanish and French fluently so we can communicate with anyone that speaks any of these 3 languages. My philosophy is to provide you with a quiet, serene environment not too far from the wonderful activities in Santa Fe, a good bed and a well-equipped kitchen, just in case you want to cook your favorite meal.
This is a semi-rural area with dispersed single family homes. Most of the people in the area commute to work in Santa Fe or work remotely. Most of the homes are on relatively large lots of more than 1.5 acres and partially hidden from view by the pine forest. The area is peaceful, breezy, sunny, with gorgeous views in all directions. It's only about a 20 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe, shopping and even closer to medical facilities. There's very little traffic and the atmosphere is friendly. This is a wonderful place for appreciating nature and forest bathing in your own backyard.
