Hello happy travelers! We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate. Our adventure started 10 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. By the riverside, a crackling firepit sets the mood for memorable evenings, complemented by delightful BBQ. Your ultimate vacation experience awaits here. Step into a cozy haven featuring a wood slab dining table and plush leather couches and chairs. The wood-burning fireplace adds warmth, complemented by the charm of open beam construction. Admire mountain and river views through every window. Relax in the 4-person hot tub or access the loft via stairs. Convenience is yours with a washer and dryer. The well-equipped kitchen boasts spices and cookware. Outside, a private beach awaits with a rock-adorned firepit. This newly remodeled home ensures your comfort and tranquility. You'll have access to the entire home and property without interruption. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! :-) 1) We have ships ladder style stairs to the sleeping loft, and that may pose an access limitation for people with mobility issues. 2) The tap water occasionally gets a sulfur smell, that is perfectly safe and normal for well water. Please don't let these items scare you from booking this magical property :)

We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 1) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, check-out instructions will be emailed to you 2 days prior to your arrival. 2) If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee per pup per night. This fee is added post booking. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft. 3) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :) 4) We do recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the fireplace and firepit. Darrington IGA and Arlington Grocery Outlet both have great ready made bundles. 5) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions. 6) Weather forecast for your planning should be Darrington Washington. 7) Closest gas, grocery, outfitters, firewood, restaurants, coffee, and bars is 5 minutes to the North in Darrington Washington.
