As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a thoughtfully renovated interior with large windows and a layout that's ideal both for gathering with friends and family and for finding quiet spots to escape to. The professional-grade kitchen, the eight-person dining room, and the open living room seamlessly blend together, with the former offering stainless steel appliances and a center island with bar seating for three. There's a flatscreen TV in the living room to keep you entertained as you cook (one of six TVs in the house), built-in surround sound speakers, and beautiful, private outdoor space with a large yard and a gas grill for summer barbecues. After dinner, you can watch movies in the cozy loft space, toss the day's clothes in the washer/dryer, and sleep soundly in one of four bedrooms.

This home is located on the north side of Mount Desert Island, just south of Bar Harbor Road (Route 3) and nine miles west of downtown's charming shops and restaurants. In many ways, it's the perfect location on the island, no matter if you're planning to hike, ride bikes, or go fishing, sailing, whale watching, or kayaking. If you head southeast, you'll reach the most popular parts of Acadia National Park in no time, with the Hulls Cove Visitor Center only seven miles east.
