The cabin also has two large decks for you to take in the outdoors while enjoying your morning coffee, reading a book, or lying on a blanket to watch for shooting stars at night.

Serene Lakes is near to many outdoor winter activities: cross-country skiing at Royal Gorge and downhill at Soda Springs, Boreal, Sugar Bowl, or Donner Ski Ranch. Or just strap on your snowshoes and take a walk around Serene Lakes. In the summer, hiking trails abound in the neighborhood and the lakes and beach at Serene Lakes are a hub of fun activity. You are less than 15 minutes away from Truckee and 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Things to know: Full kitchen (no dishwasher) Dog-friendly Free WiFi (in this remote location, WiFi can be hit or miss during the winter months). It's only good for basic web surfing and not good for video conferencing (5-15mbps download speeds).
