When you aren't enjoying a lake day with the cabin's floating dock (available seasonally May - September), kayaks, or paddle boards - check out nearby Fiske Quarry Nature Preserve, Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge, and Goodsell Ridge Nature Preserve. Other landmarks include the wildlife refuge in Swanton and Saint Anne's Shrine. Outdoor enthusiasts will also be thrilled to learn there are nine different state parks (such as Alburgh Dunes State Park) and five golf courses in the area to explore as well. Hikers can take advantage of the access to VAST trails in Alburgh and NYSSA trails in Chazy for scenic adventures.
