Welcome to Sweet Retreat and Yurt Farm! Come experience a romantic, private four season yurt experience in a secluded piece of nature on our 14 acre property, enveloped by a variety of tall trees and distant view of the farms pasture and barn. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, a family or group experience, the yurt provides 492 sq. ft. of comfortable space with top quality amenities, including Wi-Fi, and is available for all seasons: rain, snow or sunshine. The yurt is 25 feet in diameter, providing 492 square feet of eclectically designed interior living space. With six feet tall walls, it provides for an openly spacious, cozy stay for four persons. A cot or sleeping pad may be requested for an additional person(s). Guests have access to the entire yurt, outhouse/shower area, fire pit, surrounding area, walking paths around the farm pastures, two brooks, and pond. Access to the barn animals may be available upon request. We moved to New Hampshire from the city after experiencing a farm stay in Vermont. We decided to make this lifestyle our own and visioned providing the same opportunity for others to experience nature and the unique, calming effects of Glamping. We really enjoy hosting and providing those seeking a unique, lodging experience. Although this is Glamping and you will not have all the amenities of a 5 star Hotel, we have put great thought into making your stay a comfortable one. Our place has even been described as "Boujee."

The small town of Mason, New Hampshire was the childhood home of "Uncle Sam." The town has the following places and nearby attractions: PICKITY PLACE RESTAURANT - Where you can experience exquisite, five course meals year around at their quaint little red cottage, once chosen as the model for illustrations in Little Red Riding Hood. PARKERS MAPLE BARN AND SUGARHOUSE -The very popular country restaurant, Parker’s Maple Barn, has been a family establishment since the late 1960’s. They serve a hearty breakfast, as well as lunch. Their gift shop features all of their maple products made from their own sugar house. They are closed from December 22, 2023 to February 1, 2024. WASHBURN'S WINDY HILL ORCHARD - Provides hayrides, apple picking, apple cider donuts, and a 5 acre corn maze. They are open Labor Day through Halloween. THE RANGE MASON- A venue for live concerts of talented performers/bands, food, beer, golf range and ice cream. They are closed from Mid October to Memorial Day weekend. MOUNT MONADNOCK - Cited as one of the most frequently climbed mountains in the world. It is the most prominent mountain peak in southern New Hampshire. It is just 18 miles away.
