Hi! My name is Alise Wharton and I am the CEO of Yosemite Hideaway Vacation Rentals, LLC, headquartered in San Francisco, where I currently live. I have been married for 15 years and have no children. I have owned my rental property in Yosemite National Park since 1996 and I am totally familiar with the rental business in Yosemite after helping my parents with their 50 or so homes since they started there in 1981. They have since retired and liquidated their rental home business, but I continue to maintain my rental business after incorporating in 2014. I am very proud of my property in Yosemite, and strive to keep it "clean, comfortable, and homey" at all times. We have just completed a total top to bottom refurbishment of this 3 bedroom 3 bath, family home. All new flooring, carpets, window coverings, furniture, beds and bedding, LED lighting throughout. There are four floor to ceiling stone fireplaces one each in the master suite, game room, living room, one guest bedroom, all converted to propane gas ( no need for wood burning) gormet kitchen including all new appliances with double oven, 5 burner range top for holiday meal preparation, large lighted rear deck with two new gas barbques and new patio tables and chairs for outdoor dining in the summer. There are ceiling fans in all but two of the sleeping rooms, all new dining table in the formal dining room to accommodate 10 persons and a kitchen dinette for four. Watch your favorite sports and movies on two 60" flatscreen smart TV sets in the living room and the TV room with over 200 satellite channels and choose from many titles to watch on the Blue Ray DVD player. The large rear deck overlooks an open space frequented by grazing deer and a wide variety of birds, Chipmunks and Squirrels.

The home is located in a private community known as "Yosemite West" located just off Highway 41, twenty two miles from the South Entrance to Yosemite National Park. We are 12 miles from the Valley Floor (Yosemite Village) to the North and 12 miles from the town of Wawona to the South. Most of the homes in Yosemite West are Vacation Rentals and is just far enough away from the crowded summer tourests at the Valley Floor to make for a peaceful stay inside the Park. We are 20 miles or so from Glacier Point and Mirror Lake and close to myriad hiking trails.
