It was very well decorated and climatized. the garden was beautiful and the rooms were well distributed, allowing for some privacy. Our room even had a private little patio with an outdoor table and benches. The bathroom and room both had heaters. There was even a bathtub! The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was spectacular with exotic additions and made to each customer’s taste. I liked that each guest had their own gate keys and could come and go freely.

We are situated in Brooklyn, an established and upmarket neighbourhood, a beautiful and serene property with lush green lawns and modern architecture and artworks from southern Africa. We have spacious rooms, suitable for business travellers, diplomats or families which will fulfil in your every need, ensuring a home away from home feeling. All our rooms are equipped with air-con, free fibre optic WIFI, TV with a DSTV Hotel Bouquet, coffee/tea making facilities, amenities, en-suite bathroom, comfortable beds, desk, safe, housekeeping everyday. We have a standby generator for the load-shedding days. We provide same day laundry facilities on weekdays. We serve a wide variety English/ Continental breakfast daily. We also serve home-made dinners out of this world! Free parking. Security. Shuttle services on arrangement. 314 on Clark consists of two in-house conference rooms that can seat up to 35 pax.

Brooklyn is a suburb of the city of Pretoria, South Africa. It is a well-established area, lying to the east of the city centre, encompassing high-end residential properties and several upmarket mall developments (Brooklyn Mall, Menlyn Shopping Centre, Menlyn Maine, Sun Arena). The Brooklyn Mall opened in 1989. It borders the University of Pretoria to its north and the suburbs of Groenkloof and Waterkloof to its south. 314 on Clark is also close to Menlo Park, Afrikaans Hoër Seunskool (Affies), Afrikaans Hoër Meisies Skool, Pretoria Boys High School, Anton van Wouw, Waterkloof Primary School, WHPS. We are close to a lot of upmarket restaurants, coffee shops or even take away restaurants - delivering to your door. Anton van Wouw House (just down the road from 314 on Clark Guesthouse, housing the Van Wouw Museum of the University of Pretoria. Brooks House was built shortly after James Brooks purchased the land that would form part of Brooklyn, Pretoria in 1886. James Brooks was partially responsible for the layout of the Brooklyn area.
