Stay in the heart of Knysna. Located in Westhill, Knysna with panoramic views over Knysna Estuary (lagoon as us locals call it!), through the Heads to the Indian ocean. Walking distance from the Town Centre and Waterfront. Private Flat accessible by stairs. leading to a private garden, secured with 600mm high picket fence ideal for toddlers and small dogs, with a seating area and braai facilities. Secured parking on site and a single garage available for use. The flat comprises one double bedroom, full modern bathroom with walk in shower, separate toilet, fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge with Flat screen TV and full DSTV and 2 single beds leading out to the balcony with breathtaking views over the lagoon and heads. To allow more flexibility access to the property by key box, access to key box code will be provided with booking confirmation and payment. We have inverters for back-up electricity.
Den is a retired gas engineer from London and myself from Cape Town, 16 years experience in the hospitality industry. We recently relocated to Knysna (November 2021) where we bought our lovely home. We love traveling, love meeting people from all over the world
Knysna lies on the N2 approximately 6 Hour drive from Cape Town, 1 Hours drive to George/ George Airport and 3 Hours drive to Port Elizabeth. Knysna is ideally located to explore the Garden Route mostly all in an Hours drive. Knysna is a small coastal town built around a large warm water estuary which is fed by the Knysna River flowing from the Outeniqua Mountains. The estuary (or Knysna lagoon) is now an international Hope spot and opens to the Indian Ocean through two large headlands known as The Heads. Westhill lies to the North of the estuary and the property is situated less than 10 min walk to the town centre and 15 min walk to the Waterfront. There are many local attractions and experiences including Knysna Forest, Featherbed Nature Reserve, Knysna Elephant Park, The Heads, Whale watching, Bird watching, Hiking trails, Cycling trails, Boat trips, Fishing, Kayaking, Golf, Shopping malls, Knysna Waterfront and the famous Knysna Oyster Festival every year. Many Restaurants and bars within walking distance. There are several beaches close by including buffels bay, brenton on sea and leisure isle.
