Friendly, quiet homely, stand alone cottage, with private patio separate entrance, secure off street parking, with bedroom and bathroom ensuite and a lounge, office area, with free WiFi and kitchenette. Smoking allowed on the patio only ash tray provided. Small pets allowed by agreement. Wheelchair friendly. Looking onto a private patio with access to the garden. Quiet suburb and secure in a cul-de-sac with security guard stationed in the road.
Derek is Energetic, friendly family man involved in the community and his local church. Enthusiastic amateur woodworker. Enjoys rock and roll, reading and long walks. Currently an IT project manager, but also has countless projects around the house. Is a director of a non-profit organisation teaching English reading, with Penny a founder member. Penny, Loves people and always enjoys a good story, a retired speech and hearing therapist and court expert witness. A commited mother, and home maker, available to welcome friends and guests alike. Thoroughly enjoys writing, gardening, sewing ,reading, and the occasional good movie Both Derek and Penny love meeting new people.
Pender House in Abbotsford is conveniently situated between Rosebank, Melrose Arch and Sandton city within easy reach of business centres, multiple restaurants, theatres, museums, and sporting venues such as the Wanderers, Old Eds. For the golfing enthusiast there are the Wanderers, Killarney, Houghton, and Huddle Park courses. Abbotsford is also close to all the private schools and tertiary intuitions in Johannesburg. Ideally situated for sports festivals. If its shopping that you need there, is no shortage of shopping malls Melrose Arch, Rosebank, Bluebird, Killarney Norwood, Sandton, Greenstone are all within 10 km. .and Mall of Africa Abbotsford is near the M1 motorway, allowing easy access to Jhb CBD, Sandton, Krameville Design Centre, Midrand, and Pretoria. Other places of interest that are within easy reach include, the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens, the Johannesburg Zoo, Melville Koppies and several open bus tours of Johannesburg and the famous Soweto (South West Townships). Abbotsford is within 2 kilometres of Rosebank Gautrain station, and on the Gautrain bus route. ORT International Airrport, is serviced by the Gautrain, and is only 22 kms away by car.
