I love my early morning swims in the Indian ocean, life would be half as rewarding without Yoga and a good cup of coffee. I enjoy being around positive people that love my home as much I do. My house is not the most convenient place to access but once you made it down the 90 steps, you won't want to leave! as one is rewarded with breath taking views towards Cape Point, Seal island and the Table Mountain Nature Reserve. If you feel brave you can walk down via 200 steps to the beach and have a swim and suntan on the beach or you stay home and swim in your own private salt water pool.

The Ley with its commanding position overlooking the False Bay coastline, combines stunning views with a tranquil, peaceful setting. Being one of the famous step's properties means car and pedestrian noise is almost completely eliminated, allowing guests to have a relaxing stay. St James and Kalk Bay are rich in history and many historic sites are within walking distance of The Ley. Similarly, there are many restaurants, shops and bars again within walking distance. Just 5 minutes easy walk from the property is Danger Beach, a beautiful sandy beach which offers swimming under the supervision of life guards during the summer season. There are also several tidal pools providing safe swimming all day long, no matter where the tide is or the seas conditions. From The Ley, it is possible to whale watch during the season, as the whales love the reefs off Danger Beach. Often they can be heard breaching and exhaling during the evenings and early mornings, from The Ley patio areas. All year round it is possible to swim with a colony of African Penguins which can be found a quick 15 minutes drive away. The Ley and St James offer the perfect location for your holiday .
