This is a lovely space for short term stays in Bryanston, Johannesburg. It is lovely but not perfect. Not perfect but not run down is taking it waaaay far :)You have your own garden, pool, gas braai and oodles of space to both inside and outside. Its ideal for couples who just appreciate space and want to be hidden away for a little while.
I am Simba. I run a fledgling property business... as you can see. I love people and all things great. I think Airbnb has opened not just a business opportunity for hosts like me but for all to belong wherever they prefer (even if it is just for a little while). It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, when you are at any of our places, you are home. I live in Bryanston. It really depends on you. if you want minimum interaction, be my guest.
Bryanston is a lovely quiet area north of Johannesburg and in particular north of the Sandton CBD. Ideal for a quieter life away from the frenetic buzz of Sandton but close enough to quickly go and become part of the action. In a short walk, you are at Riverside shopping centre with a restaurant, pharmacy, supermarket. An organic supermarket plus an art gallery give you a fairly good idea that you are in a 'right' neighbourhood. We are located between the Bryanston and Rivonia business districts. Sandton CBD is ten minutes away. Our particular area is 'boomed,' meaning that the area is closed off to control traffic and therefore increase security. Word has it that this is a highly sought after area but I choose not to continue on this already enormous ego trip. :) Even though this is by no means on the outskirts, you will almost certainly need a car to get around. You do not have to worry about parking, it is plentiful here. From the airport, a pick up can be arranged from the train station in Sandton.
