Our Vine Cottage at Viva Connect is a budget-friendly option for families and friends, looking for a clean and pleasant stay-over in Cullinan. You will have the use of the lovely swimming pool and lapa, with outdoor catering facilities. The Cottage offers sleeping place for up to 4 people. There is a bathroom, kitchenette and lounge area, with a gas-grill and seating, outside under the vine. A basic self-catering style breakfast is provided and included in the price. We place eggs, bread, cereal, cheese, jam, coffee, tea and rusks in the cottage for you to prepare at your own convenience. We can cater for lunch or dinner, but meals must be discussed before hand, as the option is only in operation upon request and prior arrangement. We are completely off the grid and make use of solar power and gas. The property is unaffected by load-shedding.
We are looking forward to hosting you and your group and are passionate about making your stay as special as can be. We are also the hosts of the Sunset Cottages, on the same property. Together, we and our friendly dogs, will make sure you are heartily welcomed and well taken care of during your stay.
Cullinan is a lovely town and perfect for a get-away, while not too far away from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The town is famous for it's Diamond Mine that produced the famous Cullinan Diamond in the crown of the British King. Along Oak Avenue and other little side streets offer a beautiful array of restaurants, gift shops, art museums and attractions. There is Adventure Zone for ziplining and other sport activities, hiking and Spa treatments, Diamond Mining tours and much more. The Viva Connect venue is neighbour to the Sunset Cottage and Vine Cottage and in the week, the Viva Independent School has its home there. Viva Foundation is an NPO and was founded by the Leon and Meleney in 2007. The NPO specialises in providing quality and equality in education, child & youth development, art, sport, nutritional security and community safety including the prevention of sexual violence.
