ItalyThe lodge is nice and cosy. For people coming from Europe to stay in a tipical Canadian wooden building was amazing. The room was nice, clean and has all you need, including a nice balcony on the canal.

United KingdomThis little hotel makes a refreshing change from all the rather corporate hotels around Halifax. It is conveniently located near the waterfront. Our room had a good bed (rather high but there was a stool!). Also chairs, a sofa and a coffee machine. There was a little balcony above the garden. The staff always seemed to be around to help and took our luggage up the steep flight of stairs. The hotel is in adjacent period houses with some character.

We went up for a surgery,which happened to get canceled but,we enjoy staying here as it is directly across from the hospital and they have a very clean and comfortable inn,the staff are friendly and helpful,also there is a free breakfast.

The Reception was Excellent. Both Employees were very friendly in welcoming us to the Inn. The young man from Napal was Exceptionally nice. All the employees were very nice. The location is just down the street from the Halifax Public Garden. It is a very short distance also to the Halifax Waterfront. The Bed was very comfortable; water was hot; shower was very good.

The inn is within walking distance (about 1 mile) from most major Halifax attractions. Parking on site was available for an extra fee. The breakfast was advertised as continental but was more than ample, with yogurt, hardboiled eggs, cereals, toasts, etc.

The breakfast had the main essentials with the choice of boiled or scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The inn was very clean and tidy with a very friendly, helpful staff.
