the prince george hotel and a in a great location between the citadel and the wharf and is perfect for exploring Halifax. The beds were very comfortable with a variety of pillows and bedding to suit all. The rooms are clean and quiet and service is excellent. While we took advantage of the rooftop bar for happy hour and nibbles we opted to explore nearby cafes for breakfast.

We spent one day in Halifax.

We spent one day in Halifax. We stared our day early at the opening of the halifax citadel. Get there early as there is only 80 parking spots. There were plenty of fun activities there. I spent 25$ and got to shoot an Enfield black powder gun 3 times. There was a signal gun shot at 12 pm. Currently there are military bands staying at the citadel and you can see them practice, and they perform at 1230pm. We then drove to one of the major parking lots at the boardwalk. It was closed due to a stage being up up. My advice is to look up a parking garage and park there. Don't bother with parking lots because the traffic is crazy cramped and busy. We ended up in a parking garage on the top 8th floor with like 3 spots left. this was around 1pm on a Monday. The boardwalk has gone down in niceness. The restaurant i took my group from Australia was closed down.

Our intentions were to fly into Halifax and get picked up by my sister that lives in Parrsboro, but we ended up staying two days in Halifax by the waterfront tomorrow we are off to see my sister in Parrsboro . Just wish it wasn’t so expensive on the waterfront to eat. They charge premium for everything which is not affordable for everyone.

Halifax is full of history from the Citadel to the many interesting galleries and museums. We loved the boardwalk and took a harbour tour in a tall ship. Most of the attractions were close by the city center.

I loved Halifax and every place I visited in Nova Scotia.

I loved Halifax and every place I visited in Nova Scotia. The city is beautiful, clean, well-organized, and filled with kind and welcoming people. It is the perfect place to learn about Canada's history, discover its maritime heritage, visit Titanic-related sites, and enjoy unforgettable experiences. Without a doubt, it was an amazing trip, and I hope to return someday.

I love this city. The transit system is very good.

I love this city. The transit system is very good. The Public Gardens are always a delight. I love Spring Garden Road and the areas around it, so many different shops and restaurants from fine dining to mcdonalds, from the dollarama to high end speciality shops. most of the people are friendly. There are scooters and e-bikes for rent at good prices all over the city. and then of course there is the harbour. (it rained almost the entire time i was there so there were some excursions i didn't get to do that i looked forward to. ) and the Art Gallery of NS is a must see every time. And a visit to Quinpool area is always great (be sure to visit the Ardmore Tea Room on Quinpool -very busy at lunch time so plan accordingly) and their breakfasts are excellent. And the best coffee ever from Uncommon Grounds (Public Gardens and/ or South Park St)

What a beautiful city with so many places to explore! We drove along the Cabot Trail and visited the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, Peggy's Cove, the town of Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Halifax. We definitely plan to return and make sure we have more time to discover all that this area has to offer.

The continental breakfast wasn't as bad as other reviews I saw said. There was a nice selection of cereals, bagels, yogurts and more. The location is good - right near downtown Halifax! I think the decor was suitable for the age of the building. It was pretty quiet, and the staff we dealt with were nice.
